Wow despite all the hype by Discorder(usually a sign that a band sucks) The Arcade Fire were actually pretty good live I would go as far as saying impressive, the openers Chet however are the worst band I have ever seen and i was actually angry that they were on stage and not somebody more interesting (like a granville street busser or something), I just hope they didn't get paid cause they sure didn't earn it. not sure how I would like Arcade on Cd but I might check it out for fun.

their cd is gorgeous, if you like artsy indie rock... their show at the troubador is sold out though  |

their older songs are amazing
i listened to funeral, it was good, but it got really annoying after a while, repetative.

yhea I just listened to funeral and wasn't too impressed, much,much better live, I still can't get over how bad chet was though, seriously, what is the point of having a girl drummer if she sucks really bad? just for the novelty of having a girl drummer? and whats the point of having a viola if it's just playing the same two chords the guitar is for an hour?grrrrrrrrrr.but yhea your right Funeral is pretty repetitive, I would rather put on a Neurosis album if I wanted repetition.
