Death Grips are so good. I've been listening to NO LOVE DEEP WEB in tandem with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's album all week. They're strangely complementary.

Grimes. She's an interesting character, and seems a lot more sincere in interviews than I thought she would be.

Grimes. She's an interesting character, and seems a lot more sincere in interviews than I thought she would be. YES. also revisiting Go! Team and Broken Social Scene (was I the only fan who couldn't really get into Forgiveness Rock Record?) Edit: also, I keep getting Lost Painting from Castlevania:SOTN stuck in my head, so I look it up fairly regularly

I've been on a strick christmas music diet for the last four months now. AND I'm fucking loving it!!!
That said, I've also been sneaking in comfort listens here and there to yMuisc/NOW ensemble's records just to keep me a little down to earth.
But yeah... Pretty much just holy and jolly and shit all day er'ry day(!)

Also, also, also, I've only very recently come across Laurie Anderson, Big Science and so much more! I don't understand how finding her could've taken me so long but I'm at peace now having her music and work in my life.

Ive started my yearly Sufjan Stevens Songs for Christmas kick, which is espesially fun because of the new albums.
Also, I burnt an Owen mix for my work the other day and some old lady told me to turn off the racket D= No accounting for taste

Aww, I loved Forgrockord. Not as good as Yorgotitineople maybe, but I was a tween and high on hormones when that came out so it's not really fair to compare. I was disappointed at first that Bat For Lashes' new album abandoned the classical feel for a more synth-pop one, but once I got over that I was playing it nonstop. There's also my new favourite band Dry River Caravan, and I'm not just saying that because the lead-singer is an accordionist.

Speaking of Sufjan, I haven't listened to the entirety of his new Christmas material yet (that will probably take a while), but I have heard Christmas Unicorn and it's one of the best things to ever exist. I urge everyone here to listen to this glorious song.
