anyone else besides Alea and I headed to the Vancouver show? 3 1/2 years since I last was graced with his presence, so overjoyed to be seeing him play again! and billed with Foxes in Fiction and Avi Buffalo... was a dreamy show. *heart eyes* Yes. Me and my wife will be there latish. (Daughter must go to sleep before we can leave.) Last time I saw him was in Dartmouth when he opened for (and then performed with) Suburbs-period Arcade Fire at Alderney Landing. It was nice. Very excited.

tell me all about the Vancouver show!!! ahh Carlo, wish you could've been there! the whole performance was absolutely superb, start to finish- a great handful of He Poos and Has a Good Home treats thrown into the set (Arctic Circle!!). he played The Passions solo and mentioned it was kind of a bummer (probably just in terms of energy level), but it was beautiful and tender and intimate. ended it all with the classic Lewis Takes Off His Shirt, which is on another level with Matt and Robbie. I had the overwhelming delight of meeting Owen when some of us stuck around afterwards, and he is so kind and humble and genuine. got pretty choked up when I told him how important his music is to me, and he really responded graciously. what a completely delightful human being. I also mentioned I was one of the 'forum' people, which he initially misheard as 'foreign', haha. but anyways, anyone hitting up the future tour dates should be extremely excited. Foxes and Fiction are also super adorable and put on a wonderful performance! Warren's such a sweetie.

Went to the Chicago show, and agree that Owen's a wonderfully gracious person! He was very empathetic when I told him about my horrible week and my dad's health issues and how looking forward to the concert got me up and about...Owen, if you're reading these threads, my dad woke up from his coma and is on the (really long) road to recovery! Chicago's show was one of the best live performances I've seen in my life, ever. I took a friend who's relatively new to Owen and she looked at me after the first song (CN Tower) and was absolutely slackjawed that one person could create that kind of music onstage. I can't even decide what the highlight to me was, although it might be Song for Five & Six or Arctic Circle. Warren and Emily are absolute sweethearts too. Looking forward to Ontario Gothic! Got it on cassette but alas, no player.

Seeing him tomorrow night in SF. Just curious, do we know on which side of the stage he stands?
Thanks for any help!

So glad to hear your father is on the road to recovery!! The first song was "That's When the Audience Died" if I remember right.

Hello all! I'm considering going to the Dallas show this Friday and my daughter who is 11 would love to go, as well. She really likes Owen. My question is, would this be a good idea considering her age?

Hello all! I'm considering going to the Dallas show this Friday and my daughter who is 11 would love to go, as well. She really likes Owen. My question is, would this be a good idea considering her age? there might be a couple swears thrown out during stage banter, but that would really be the only hazard I can think of for an 11 year old. she would love you forever if you brought her along!
