I'm assuming the number's a landline as my text failed to go through. that being said, I don't know if I'll ever be able to chalk up the nerve to actually call it for fear of making a complete fool of myself.

even if it's legit, i can't really see myself calling the number. as much as i'd love to talk, i feel like anything i would say i can just post on this forum anyway.
though i will say i miss the snapchats!

Anyone need an extra ticket to the Bowery Ballroom show this Wednesday? I won't be able to go unfortunately.

Great show yesterday at the Danforth Hall. First show I went in my life, and it was worth it haha.
My friend swear he heard some fellow brazilians talking there. I doubt it, but that would be cool, I don't know anyone from Brazil that likes Owen (except friends that know him through me), sadly.

So, I guess we could share the setlists from the shows, right? If someone has a copy of the list and would like to share it, I'd be curious to see how different his shows are on this tour. I remember him really changing it up from show to show in the last few tours! Here's the Montreal one: -The Butcher -Song Song Song -Song for Five and Six -In Conflict -Keep the Dog Quiet -Soldiers Rock -The Secret Seven -The Sky Behind the Flag (The setlist says He Poos Clouds here, but he skipped it. Or my memory is really faulty!) -This Lamb Sells Condos -The Passions -Midnight Directives -The Great Elsewhere -Infernal Fantasy -The Riverbed -This is the Dream of Win and Regine -Tryst with Mephistopheles -Scandal in the Parkade -Lewis Takes his Shirt Off
It was a really good show though. It was nice to see him again after not seeing him in almost 4 years. I'm hoping that he's going to be performing in Montreal more often now that he moved here.
I wasn't able to talk to him after the show though because I had to take a bus home, but I'm sure he's a nice guy, so if some of you were a bit nervous about it, you should definitely hang around after the show.

It is one hell of a setlist, yes! He did warn the audience that he was going to play a long set. I'd say that it was probably his more varied set I've seen by him. Solo songs, songs with Matt and Rob, noisier tracks, calmer tracks. It was just a lot of fun!

Has anyone gotten the double LP with Bridle and Bit yet (I'm actually not sure if he is selling it at the shows, but I assume so)? If so, how does it sound?

Hey Owen, I saw a poster in town (Leeds, UK) saying you were playing the Brudenell Social Club this summer, but now I can't find anything about it on the interwebs. Is it a thing? If so, when is it a thing?

Hi everyone. Anyone heading to the Ottawa show? Thought I'd get my fix in Toronto but nope, it just served to whet my appetite. Only four + months to go. :-I

Found this - looks a little unofficial but there is a link to tickets: www.leeds-gigs.co.uk/w_event_25175.htmlNow I'm wondering if this is true is it just a one off or part of a little UK tour...

setlist from glasslands, as scribbled on the back of my book: --- full band --- Midnight Directives Scandal at the Parkade Keep the Dog Quiet Soldier's Rock In Conflict The Secret Seven Tryst With Mephistopheles --- solo, requests taken --- E is for Estranged The Arctic Circle This Lamb Sells Condos --- full band --- This is the Dream of Win and Regine The Great Elsewhere Infernal Fantasy The Riverbed --- encore --- Song for Five and Six (solo) Lewis Takes Off His Shirt (band)
I assume most folks are showing up to these shows well beforehand so this probably isn't an issue, but I want to put in a reminder to enjoy the fuck out of Doldrums, who put on an amazing set together. The set was excellent. I think the three of Owen, Robbie, and Matt are caught between new and old material and how to make it all read and work, because the new stuff is very, very new, and (at least for me) requires a totally different means of listening. The devotion it takes to keep bringing out the old shit, that's an admirable thing.
The show was in this gallery space that didn't have to kick anybody out, so there was an impromptu dance party with about a dozen of us for about 2 hours afterward. I really hope photos surface. Please enjoy each other and the band in this most wonderful of times! Don't be any longer afraid!
