I'll be at the Toronto one! Pretty good venue now that they've taken out the seats on the floor. I didn't know the seats are gone. I saw Porcupine Tree there years ago and it was a bit weird with the seats. Yes! It was closed for a while, I think it changed owners? Seats are still there in the balcony but it has opened things up a lot on the floor. I remember Arcade Fire played a "secret" show there a couple years ago and it was incredibly awkward with the seats. Now there are a couple small bars on each side and the slope of the floor helps to have a good view no matter where you are.

Looking forward to the AF aftershow tonight!
Any idea what time you're on, Owen?

Toronto aftershow was so, so fun, packed but not uncomfortable, loud but not ear-splitting. We barrelled through a pile of songs and it ruled, Phi Slamma Jamma ruled. Looking forward to Philly!!

Here's a picture where Owen (between Sarah and Win to the right) uncomfortably covers his ears to the loud, ear-splitting music.

Hey Owen, any chance you could play Arctic Circle in Toronto on Saturday? Pretty please? Okay you're the best.

In light of developments since I first raised this subject, I'm going to rinse, wring and repeat:
1) Will you be joining Arcade Fire at Glastonbury? 2) Any new plans to play a solo show there? (seriously, 100+ stages)
Thanks!

I will be playing with AF at Glastonbury!
I won't be playing a solo set. I can be an entrée and sometimes an h'ors d'oeuvre, but I can't be an amuse-bouche

Oh good! I hope you all have a good time and get a chance to soak up the atmosphere a bit! I think if there's a place I've gotta see them it's there, but I'm working there again so hopefully my shifts will allow it!
Also, my apologies for recent telephone horseplay. Work today is very boring. I don't know what I expected when I dialled that number but certainly not what happened! Meant what i said tho, it's sounding great!
Anyways, back to work!

this is what happens when you give out your number in one of your songs! (i have no idea if that's what actually happened)

Once this album gets in everyone's hands, I wonder how long until Owen has to change his number (if it really is)! If I didn't have a pinch of self-restraint, I'd definitely call at 3am and in tears.

I'm just mad that the phone number wasn't sung on its scale-degrees

If it's still open when I've managed to acquire the album and digest it, maybe I'll have a rethink and give you a call that last longer than 38 seconds, OP. 38 seconds of RED FACED JOY
