I am still just as excited for IC though. I've been listening to that live recording of Bridle and Bit probably more than is healthy

I haven't! That's a big festival, books big acts. Even if I did push for it, it'd be like playing to 50 people at 10:00 in the morning. A whole lot of play for not a lot of ears. It's honestly just not that important for me to push it. If I ever happen to surprise myself with a hit record, and it became an inevitability, then I'll definitely play. But when it comes to festivals I prefer to be invited than try to force the issue. That's why I do Latitude, Field Day, End Of The Road, etc. Bestival would be fun, that seems like a riot

I must admit I did push for ATP but that was motivated by alcohol and the fact that it's the best festival

Haha. It is big, but there's about 100 stages on a sliding scale from cafés and bars through to the pyramidal behemoth - There's always a good range of people on and you'd definitely pull a crowd! But I hear you, maybe 2015 then, in a world where the whole concept of music will be divided into two schools, 'pre-event' and 'post-event': the event being the release of a society shattering 14 track-er in early 2014. (I've got a good feeling)

OP, Out of interest, will you be still touring with the Arcade Fire in June? Or is that too far ahead? I saw today they're headlining Glasto (our father, who art in somerset, hallowed be thy pyramid etc. etc.) and I've also got a ticket for one of the London Earl's Court shows! excite

Not sure if those are just rumors though. |

I'm in Canada being a exchange student this year, I guess I can hope there will be at least one show here until the end of the year? Didn't find much info about it.
