Jesus Christ. I can't get enough of Song for Five and Six. I love that one video where the crowd goes nuts when he stops the loops briefly but still plays the Odessa-like violin line then restarts the loops and you can see that Owen is like woah! thank you!

ugh, yes, Song For Five Or Six! I've been listening to the live videos of it basically every day... can't wait to hear the studio version (and see it live myself, of course!).

If I find my passport (suspect I will) I'll be volunteering up at Arboretum. I'll probably be wearing a vegetable bandana and busking somewhere on clarinet in the off hours. Would love to hang out with everybody, and not have to run off at the end of shows like the last few times.

.....that London (UK) date (Bush Hall 11th August) goes on sale today. tomorrow (6th June). looks like the kids get to go after all. [Edit] How weird I brought mine at 9am and sent a message to loads of friends and they now tell me that it not available until tomorrow. Sure enough See Tickets now says tomorrow, but I have my confirmation mail. I'm obviously just getting ahead of myself again  [/Edit] |

Just FYI for the London show on Aug 11, 2013, it looks like they've moved it to a new venue, the Village Underground in Shoreditch. (See Bush Hall's website: www.bushhallmusic.co.uk/whats-on/events/11-aug-13-moved-to-village-underground-bush-hall/ ) If you reserved tickets with Bush Hall that were for pickup at the door (via e-mail with the Assistant Manager), it seems like they're invalid and you'll have to purchase tickets for the new venue (http://rockfeedback.ticketabc.com/events/owen-pallett/). Old Bush Hall tickets sold by third-party vendors are still valid. See you guys there! |

I bought a pair of tickets for the Brighton date this morning and then promptly realised I'm away that weekend. If anyone wants to buy them off me that would be fantastic. Face value of course and I'll cover postage.
