So,
I've always counted my Final Fantasy and Owen Pallett records amongst my most prizeddd possessions, and couldn't foresee ever wanting to get rid of them. However, I'm now unemployed, nigh-on destitute, and have therefore decided it necessary to sell my entire record collection, O.P. section and all. Cry.
The LPs and recent 10"s, I realise, are reasonably commonplace, but I wanted to ask some of you what kind of a price I ought to be asking/expecting for the rarer bits and pieces, namely the Young Canadian Mothers 7" and the Tomlab Alphabet 7". I normally use the Discogs marketplace as a guide for these sorts of things, but there's not enough information on there to gauge anything, and as awful as it sounds I'm in too dire a need for money to chance undercharging for one of them when it could actually fetch a bit more. Yanno?
Also: is Les Mouches' Blood Orgy EP coveted at all? I know it's rare but don't know whether there'd be much demand for it?
Would be really grateful of any sort of input. Thank you!

I wouldn't mind buying any of the above from you. But alas, I don't have that much money either... If you decide on individual prices, please let me know. (I couldn't tell you their value, unfortunately.)

still have the Blood Orgy EP? Also, I've heard rumors that You're Worth More To Me Than 1,000 Christians was released on vinyl. Is that true? I'd camp out to buy that.

Blood Orgy EP is, to my knowledge, still in print, and available from Blocks.
1000 Christians LP... there was an individual who was interested in financing a pressing of that album, and he saw it through to the point that we had test pressings made. I received four of them. At this point, the individual, who was undergoing some personal and financial difficulties, opted to pull out from the endeavour. (This guy is still a friend, he's awesome, but he had to back out.)
So there are exactly four copies of 1000 Christians on vinyl and I know where all four of them are. Two are in my house.

There is a lost Les Mouches EP, too. It was going to be called "Blorgy Redux". Tracks were to include "Real Executive", "Jars of Lars", "Hey Dad", "To Joel, Wherever I May Find Her", "Similac", and the Matt Smith tracks "Winter = Dead Time", "Tastes Like Homo".
But there was a semi-meltdown. Recording sessions weren't sounding the way we desired, I was pre-occupied with "how the hell am I going to record this Final Fantasy stuff?", and then my passport, birth certificate and all else was stolen on the eave of some US dates, which we had to cancel.
Back then, I didn't own a computer, I didn't know anything about recording. Different times!

I think Blood Orgy is only available now as a digital download via Zunior (http://www.zunior.com/product_info.php?products_id=746) but 1,000 Christians can still be obtain in cd (or digital from zunior) from the blue house (http://www.thebluehouse.org/details.php?id=606) who do orders for blocks.
I still have fond memories of receiving my copy of Blood Orgy. When I open the envelope the tassles came out first and for a split second I was about to curse about faulty product and then I realised it was made that way. It one of my prized possessions and much coverted. I saw a copy (tassles and all) on eBay(gum) a couple of years back and wonder if it would fetch a small fortune. The answers was no.. so maybe my covert is worth more to me than others.
Arghhh!!! a lost ep..with all those great tracks. If only they were available.. all we have now are the live clips of some of the songs.
Oh and here's another of those descriptions... "slim bible-study outcast Owen Pallett, should have "Mad Genius" written across his forehead (if he hasn’t carved it in with a pocket knife already)."

I wonder how difficult it would be to have someone sign the Blood Ogry packaging. Also Owen, I noticed you linked a Tonetta video on twitter a while ago. His stuff is being released on Black Tent Press with hand printed serigraph covers... I love the world!

Does anyone here have the music from The Polite Album? Les Mouches changed my life and I would love to hear it.
