Is there a chance that it will be professionally recorded?? Akin to the CBC sessions??
I would kill to see a FULL ORCHESTRAL performance of Heartland.... And I don't even know I would do to see something like this. Unfortunately, I cannot get myself to the Netherlands.....

We aren't allowed to record it. Union regulations, restrictions of the NNO, etc. Par for the course, and a sensible caveat to protect the rights of the musicians involved.
However, NNO restrictions have also dictated that no fewer than three 3-hour rehearsals were to be conducted. Which means: in the wild world of symphony shows, this one has been tricked out. The band is playing note-perfect, the orchestra is rehearsed to perfection, and honestly, I'm looking forward to these concerts more than any others before or after.

That's a shame I'd love to hear it - it sounds like it's going to be amazing. P.S. Don't kill the penguins - it's not their fault

I wish I could be there! It's during the long weekend of my school................I went on to expedia.ca today to find the cheapest flight to Amsterdam was just a little under $2000. I hate my life. Although I hate the world for not being able to be there, I hope it goes well and sounds amazing!!!

Because you should be able to get round trip flights for $1500, especially if you're flying to London then taking a separate flight to Amsterdam; flying around Europe while in Europe is dirt cheap.

Oh wow, ill look into that..... but i'll doubt i'd be able to get my act together in 4 days/find a concert ticket/get the money/be able to. But if I did it would be the most expensive concert ever but absolutely worth it

Oh my god! Thank you so much! It's funny how in all the orchestral performances, someone will always nab the same Heartland songs! Not that I'm complaining, but I have yet to hear Flare Gun, Keep The Dog Quiet, and The Great Elsewhere with the live orchestra :/ I'm still greatful for these And Owen, great job! I wish I could have been there

Oh my god I wish I had seen this live. So incredible.
I love how Owen just stands there all nonchalant in Arctic Circle during the big build-up haha

Those are awesome, these shows musst have been amazing!
Also, Owen seriously needs a haircut. It's all bunchy at the back of his neck.

Such great videos. "The Arctic Circle" with a full orchestra is chilling.
