Got a ticket!
£25 though, and on the top balcony with an apparently restricted view. Hard times.

This is probably a silly question, but Owen will be performing Heartland with the vocals as well, yeah? Like, it won't just be the score? Although that would be amazing anyway.

Yeah i was wondering that as well. I really want to go but getting to London is going to be expensive... but i'm sure it'll be worth it, i'll look into it

A full heartland orchestral performance? Hell, if I could afford the flight, I'd go in a heartbeat!

Owen Pallett, in a full orchestral performance of the album Heartland. After listening to Heartland all the way through so many times, I've realised how much I would like to hear Owen play it live, with a full orchestra, straight through from start to finish. This is pretty close to my exams but I'm sure I'll need a break from revision! Just need to see if my sister wants to come and I'll book my tickets. I'm excited!

I thought Owen had sworn off orchestral performances - glad to hear that's not the case. Also cool program.

That just looks amazing. I hope he plays the whole thing, because I don't think he's ever done "Tryst with Mephistopheles" live. I'm so jealous of all the people in London.
