Sorry if there was another thread like this, I looked and I couldn't find one.
I am on a search for Owen's more 'limited-edition' recordings: Tomlab X, Plays to Please, Young Canadian Mothers, and anything by Les Mouches. Are these available at all anymore? If not, is there any possibility at all of a re-release?
I'm not sure about the Les Mouches albums, but I am assuming they are rare as I can't find anyplace to buy them over the web. Actually, I can't find any Les Mouches info at all! The website is broken...

I just bought this: www.thebluehouse.org/details.php?id=606 (I haven't listened to it yet, but the packaging is wonderful). I don't know about the rest, but I found that by googling it, so you could try that. Perhaps eBay. Edit: Seems like they have Plays to Please on that same site as well.

You'll find it hard to get a physical copy of Blood Orgy, but You can buy digital download of both the Les Mouches albums at Zunior.com. You may be able to pick up a copy of the Many Lives 7" via Tomlab The blue house have the Spectrum 14th Centrury and Please to Play and Slender Means Society still seem to be selling Please To Play cd. You'll only find copies of Tomlab X or Young Canadian Mothers on ebay and very rarely.

Okay, wow... thank you!! I will go and buy all of those now, haha...
Does anyone know anything about the possibility of re-releasing the old Final Fantasy recordings, under the name Owen Pallett? I believe I remember hearing talk about that possibility a while back. Though I would think that if he was going to do that, it would have happened already..

I didn't realize that Plays to Please was available on CD. I know it's probably a worse format than vinyl but for some reason I still find myself rather buying CDs. So, I just ordered it (yay, for once the shipping wasn't crazy expensive). Thanks for the info!

Yeah, that's the nice thing about Blocks - they go "hey, how much does it actually cost to mail a CD to XYZ?" and charge you something similar. <3 THE COOPERATIVE.

A) That wasn't really Blocks, was it? I thought it shipped from some printing company in Montreal. B) Oversized package shipping to the UK is also crippling.

B) Oversized package shipping to the UK is also crippling. Hm, I got an Omnichord in a hard plastic case posted from the US to the UK for almost the same postage as that score . On-topic though, I'm definitely getting a physical copy of Plays to Please. Love that EP.
