ok... so here is the deal.
my cd says owen pallett - heartland itunes and last.fm pull it up as owen pallett
HOWEVER... my cd case says final fantasy. one of the inside pages says heartland supplement.
what is the deal? do all of them say heartland SUPPLEMENT?
i have the copy of the cd that was sent to my school's radio station, so i didn't buy it in the store, so if that has anything to do with it?

Some of the cases were printed before Owen changed the band name from Final Fantasy to just plain Owen Pallett. I pre-ordered mine and got the same thing. My insert actually says Final Fantasy instead of Owen Pallett too. I think it's a cool reminder of the transition.
To my knowledge they all say supplement, which makes sense if you think about it.
A supplement - 1. Something added to complete a thing, make up for a deficiency, or extend or strengthen the whole. 2. A section added to a book or document to give further information
All album inserts are, by definitition, supplementary. They enhance and give you better understanding of the CD as a whole. Plus, Owen just got a kick out of labeling everything. The CD is labeled CD. The supplement is labeled supplement. Even the t-shirts are labeled "Owen Pallett T-Shirt.'
And as someone who also DJs for college radio, don't be a chump and download the CDs onto your personal computer or steal them. They're sent to the radio station free for a reason - to play and drum up interest in the album in hopes that people will buy them. Man up and support the artist by buying their music.

The Ultimate in cool must be to have a T-shirt that says Final Fantasy Heartland T-Shirt #1, and LP with all references to Final Fantasy

It's official: Radiohead is a fan of Final Fantasy! Will we hear new tracks with violin solos?

Man up and support the artist by buying their music. the cd was in one of our tubs of cds that weren't even going into rotation and were going to be either thrown out or given away. i didn't steal it. actually, when i picked up the cd i squealed and people asked me what made me so happy, so i told them final fantasy was awesome, and they went and discovered owen on their own, so it helped in a way.
