At the same time, Owen said that "Hey Dad" dated back from when he was part of Les Mouches. Just sayin'.

Wasn't Hey Dad on the other side of the Alphabet Series X?

Yeah, but it took like 4 years for it to be released (or something like that), no? I think he said that it was because he didn't like the way he recorded it, until he did the session for the Alphabet Series. Well, maybe the same thing is happening with Scandal at the Parkade, or Honour the Dead Or Else. So, we shouldn"t say that the CBC recording is the best we'll ever get. Just sayin'.

The CBC "Honour the Dead" is astonishing, close to perfect, but lest we forget the old Music Gallery version with its thumps and screams. Lest we forget or else.
What are the candidates for top live "Parkade"?

I think Jules knows what I am trying to say. Its in the same webpage as those old april 16 2004 les mouches vidoes at the music gallery? Its owen in a church, and he's like "This is a huge mistake."
That, and Austin TX from 2006 is a personal favourite.

Ahh I agree with both of those Thomas.
I don't know why, but its the old versions that stand out most to me. ...it may just be because I merely saw them first and fell in love with "those" versions... (..just like how the videos where it takes owen a couple tries to get the loop of lewis takes off his shit to work appeal so much more to me...)

Haha ace typo.
From what I can tell, the "new stuff" is going to be very different... Don't Stop (the party on my account) + Odessa = Violin Dance Music.

I'm 90% sure the new album will be a ElectroThrash album where Owen, Thomas, and Simon Bookish take to the stage with the stage all wearing those awesome large thick glasses.
They will build the Syncotron

Owen mentioned during his set yesterday that he would be releasing a 10" EP next month (!) and that "Scandal at the Parkade" would be on it (!!)
I don't know what this means for "Man with No Ankles" (which he had played earlier), but I'm pretty thrilled at the prospect of a new release.
