I was so tempted to shout "KEREN OWENS BEING WEIRD AGAIN" and walk out the room hahahahah x unfortunately it would have been ineffective unless you were loud enough to shout to canada. In which case, i'm sure things would die in the process, namely you, which would be unfortunate. I also thought that the Art Attack guy died, of a heart attack in fact (sweet sweet coincidences...whoever told me that said it was ironic, but they were incorrect and it bothered me!) this makes me think about the nice soap my friend made for me that i have yet to use, i should do that, it's all nice and vegan and badass. Aside from that I'm remarkably baffled but somehow also delighted. i'm going to have to watch it again i think:P |

Aw come on guys. Owen's having fun! As much as we love the album he didn't mean to make it a Bible. He is enjoying himself and we should too! I'm not saying there is anything wrong with video or that I feel he has let the song down or anything like that. Just that for me it's like reading your favourite book so many times and having clear ideas of how the characters/scenary etc look and then you go see the film of it. However good the film may be, it's never going to be right for you as it's not how you imagine it. |

The Butcher video was weird in a good way (and esthetically varied - there's just so much beautiful shit that happens in this 3:30 span !).
LTOHS leaves me with a "what the fuck did i just watch" feeling.

Assuming mine was one of the comments that inspired this...I don't treat Heartland as anything more than an album I really enjoy, but I sort of expect that when it comes to music videos too. It's not that I dislike the idea of it, I'm a big fan of Smashing Pumpkins and they've had a few distinctly odd and "weird" videos. But to me this video was all over the shop, throwing stuff at the screen left right and center. |

Can someone (most likely Canadian) tell me that actress's name?? I know I've seen her in something else, but I'm not sure if it was some cheesy Canadian TV show/ TV movie or if it was big-budget Hollywood crap.
