Hi all, I've done a rough transcription of "Flare Gun" with piano/vocal/chord names and a few various snatches of orchestration written out in smaller dots. I decided to notate the frequent modulation between B and Ab major as actual key changes - it's a bit messy-looking, but I reckon it's the clearest way. Hope you enjoy! Some day I might try and write out "The Butcher" to go after it.. Matt Attachments:

Awesome! Can you post the MIDI files, if possible?

My pleasure . Edit: though I should note that it's just a midi file exported direct from Sibelius with no tweaking, so it won't sound brilliant! Attachments:

Ok, so we have the music...now we need someone to do the sprites, a programmer, and a designer, then it's hello to Heartland: The Game. p.s heathenpoet, I would give anything to hear the rest of the album in 8-bit format. and, no pressure or anything, but i think most of the forum would too.

YES! Very nicely done, and thank you!
8-bit arrangements of Spectrum songs are the first step on the long path towards a Heartland RPG.

OMFG I would die of happiness if there were midi files of every heartland song.

Perhaps, but you're one of the most fantastic losers there could ever be. That was truly incredible/inspiring/transporting/etc./etc. Really admirable work.

Ahh, you're all very sweet!! Well, here's 8-bit "He Poos Clouds" also then, just for some more hipsta-geeky-retro-fun: www.mattwinkworth.co.uk/hpc.mp3You'd do better to sweet-talk Owen for those MIDI files...! I'm pretty sure he's also using Sibelius going by that orchestration he generously shared. But if I transcribe any other songs in future I promise I'll also provide 8-bit versions! Teehee. Matt
