Pretty nice 2 page write up about Owen and his life and some talk of Heartland. Actually, the article and Owen give a synopsis of Heartland that I really enjoy:
He describes Heartland as the tale of a farmer named Lewis who suddenly becomes aware of his divine creator - Pallett. Lewis begins to worship Pallett, kills his wife, leaves his child, and sails across the ocean in a type of pilgrimage, only to discover later that Pallett regards him not as his prophet, but his homosexual fantasy. In the climactic 'Lewis Takes of his Shirt" the protaganist violently turns on the deity: "He's mocking me, riding across the countryside, singing about covering himself in sweat, " Pallett says. "He's like, 'I'm actually coming to kill you, not to fuck you' It's pretty erotic."

So when Lewis spurs Imelda down the mountainside, that is his wife he is killing, and not just him riding his horse? Good, I like that better, it's more dramatic. Thanks for posting this

Thanks for posting this I think he kills her in Red Sun #5 actually. Mind you, the idea of corpse surfacing down a mountain is pretty neat.

That does fit in with the Red Sun being originally the opening track of the saga.

Is it certain that Owen has actually stated this, and that it's not actually Out magazine that's thought it to be true?

Oh! I always thought it was "legs", not lips. I guess he does kill her in Red Sun No. 5.
