I really, really want A Watery Day in my Owen Pallett library (because I want all of his songs in my library), but I'm not sure I want to buy the vinyl. This is mostly because I don't have easy access to a record player where I'm at, and would thus not be able to listen to it until at least June. Plus, I have too many "things" that I don't use, and I'm not sure I can justify buying another "thing" if it only has two songs. Please tell me why or why not this is valid reasoning.

Oh, and Peter Heke, I'm pretty sure the b-side is just the other side of the vinyl. Like cassettes. "...and then she walked to the edge of the balcony and jumped. End of chapter three. Please flip over the cassette to continue." But I dunno; someone correct me if I'm wrong.

For those of you that are penny pinchers, the 7" sells for less at the concert than on Domino's website (which I'm at odds with right now). I'm lucky that my boyfriend used to be a DJ and has too much audio equipment at his disposal and will transform it from vinyl to mp3 without issue.

How much less? Because I want to buy the 7", a shirt and maybe a poster when I'll be at his show, and I want to see if I have enough money (at the risk of borrowig a bit from my parents...)

Let's see... I bought the shirt for $20 Canadian, Heartland vinyl $17 Canadian, and then the 7" for $5 US dollars. I'm a little miffed at myself because I opted to buy the Heartland shirt while in Halifax instead of the black on black Final Fantasy one (which is now obsolete)

My old Final Fantasy shirt says Final Fantasy.... But I never liked it that much anyway; it doesn't fit well at all. So don't worry, I think for wearing purposes the Heartland tee was a much better choice

I got the two latter though. I'm still waiting on my Heartland LP.. and I bought the old shirt a long time ago.

So Owen!
I know you just got the big songbook out, but wheres the notation for a watery day? I figure its a home recording, but it would be super swell if you helped a brother out, notation wise.
