On Owen's Myspace is the track titled above, but I'm at a loss to find a place where it can be purchased. Can anyone help a guy out?

Hm, I think it's only available on that very limited Tomlab X 7"?
PS: I thought this was about Owen's next direction.

If you're a vinyl completist, then I think you'll be playing a luck game at this point; the 500 copy run of Tomlab Alphabet X ("WDYTWHN?" backed w/ "Hey, Dad," both with Zach Condon of Beirut on horns...) is listed as 'sold out' on all of the sites that I just checked. (Tomlab, Boomkat, Insound, Secretly Canadian Distribution, and Amazon...) That said, you might stumble across it in a record store or in an online auction, or you could always just put a request on on the boards here to see if anyone has an extra copy. "Hey, Dad" shows up on the 10 Years of Tomlab compilation "Puppy Love," but that doesn't answer your question.
If you're just looking for the tunes, well... you didn't hear it from me, but they're "probably" available online through certain dubious conduits.

(Edit: I just realized that my opening joke wasn't very funny, and therefore has been so modified.)
Are you actually wanting digital copies of the tunes, Alyssa? Would it be uncouth to offer a link to you, so long as we "promise to delete the files after a 24 hour preview period?" In the old thread about Alphabet X, there were links to .mp3s, and that was when the vinyl was readily available.
Sooooo, any thoughts from above?

I already took a liberty on downloading Heartland, so I want to refrain unless given explicit permission by the man himself.

Hypothetically speaking, perhaps if people were to PM a certain forum member beginning with the letter "v," he perchance could provide them with audio from the aforementioned limited-run single in the good graces that their financial support of one Mr. Pallett would not wane. The concerned member of the forum just thinks both songs are too good for only 500 people to enjoy. This is, of course, hypothetical and assuming the lack of divine intervention from the Singer.

Ha ha! Having misread your post and being perhaps overeager to please, I just sent you a message with my copy of the link. So, sorry, and you may feel free to disregard all contents save my wishes for you to have a good afternoon. I guess that means I revealed my hand as a contact for these file as well. Clandestine activities have been outed. And, of course, if this is a (*ahem*) problem, I can refrain from any more sharing.

About Owen's next direction... I wonder if he'll continue on his Heartland, or if he'll start something completely new.
