Looping! I tried it for the first time recently, and it is fun! Here is a song on which I did not spend very much time, but which I think is sort of witty because it is oboe loops and the text is from the perspective of an oboe reed. Fun. |

Esther, that could totally be your thing. The world has a few looped-violin solo artist already. But you could be the first looped-oboe solo artist/songwriter. I would so see that show.
The point of that mini-rant: that song is awesome.

Hahahaha. Yes! I would really like to get a pedal and work through the logistics of live-looping a wind instrument. On the other hand: How much time do I want to spend being a ripoff?**
Anyway, I think everyone should move to Ontario and we can have a kickass cover band.

Is Ontario awesome? Because there's not much that could coax me away from portland, but that's pretty tempting.
