it was confirmed on the CBC3 site that Owen will be doing CN Tower. Personally, I think he should do Honour the Dead or Else.

I didn't record anything because my camera is horrible and I was right beside a speaker so the sound would have been insanely bad, haha. But I took a couple of photos. All in all, it was such an experience and well worth getting soaked by all of the rain. I'd love to see all of them do some movie scores together, that was brilliant. I'm curious how long they rehearsed that.

It was absolutely incredible. I did take some video, but it wasn't that great, especially since there were raindrops accumulating on the lens. I actually really enjoyed the rain, it kept picking up as the music did, and stopped when they did, it was really strange.

That is what I get for not previewing before I post, oops. It should work now!
Also, I noticed the same thing with the rain - it really added to it.

The rain didn't bother me, I was wet the moment he walked on stage. I know I saw Kiwiball, she was about 2 meters to my left throughout the show. Did anyone else notice the helicopter? It almost seemed like it was staged to fly by at that moment...

oh dear, if you were there as early as i was you probably saw all of my failures while passing the time.
-silly spontaneous a capella radiohead singing -a hug that failed so bad my nose ring stuck my septum and it bled... -the list goes on...
Yeah i did see that!
also, say hello next time! as horribly awkward as it may be!

Well I am late to this party, but I was there too! It was a mixture of unpleasant and fitting with the rain--I kept noticing parallels to the staticness on the screen and the rain striking my face--almost made me feel like I was inside the picture. The music was awesome though! I felt like the piece DMST did for "The Suicide Club" fit *so well* and Owen's first thing was almost perfect--it was everything I might possibly have missed from Final Fantasy shows, just live violin and looping. Wonderful.
And there was the umbrella dilemma in the audience--do you get absurdly wet, or do you inconvenience others by putting up your umbrella? Conundrum!
(I got a lot of umbrella runoff as I was standing next to an umbrella'd fellow.)
I'm glad you guys were there! Can I borrow some photos for a blog writeup? Peut-etre?

Hey no need for the apology, I'm just grateful someone recorded bits if it and the rain drops sort of go with the overall feel. In some ways it works better that way because you get the feel for what it was really like.
