Oh, my. Very lovely; one of my favorite covers posted here so far. What a wonderful arrangement, and your voice is incredibly charming. I like it all even more as the result of the isolating camera angle. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, glad you like it! Doing anything on that toy piano's a bit troublesome as it has only the white notes (aolian mode?) and it's about a semitone-and-a-half flat too, so I can't fill in or switch instruments without it sounding hideous..!

I love novelty instruments! This cover is ace. The weirdness of a toy piano somehow works with the song. Congrats; it's amazing!

My God, sir!!!! This is so purely charming and unique, I can't even say how much I love it. Just everything; from the strange and almost eerily fey sounding toy piano to your lovely, lovely voice and the wonderful perspective of the camera angle. Bloody awesome!!! And YES to what Ren said! I need an mp3 of this. I do, I do!

I once had a dream where Owen had released a cover version of Patrick Wolf's song Vulture ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqWIfysVR_A ) and i was listening to it on my ipod!!! But i've no idea what it sounded like - i don't think the song actually played in my dream cos i doubt my brain is capable of subconciously making up something like that. I would love to hear it though!!! I imagine it would be an orchestral version rather than electronic, with lots of very fast pizzicato and angry bowing.

The Great Elsewhere by Yesfergus www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BYISuelOyAI really love this cover despite the fact that it's so simple compared to the original. It just proves that even without the dizzying layers of polyphony, The Great Elsewhere is still a beautiful song.

Hello! I was recording some piano demos yesterday (on an actual piano, rather than my electric one..!) and I had a little bit of time left in the studio, so made a few quick covers, one from Heartland: Flare Gun. I also squeezed in Peach, Plum, Pear (Joanna Newsom), Alice (Tom Waits), and Lost in the Harbor (Tom Waits)
