Oh gosh thank you this is very kind indeed 💚. I didn’t expect it to work as well as it does! I think it says a great deal for the songwriting that it can be stripped back so much.

Tell Me I Can Fix This On My Own was made with an algorithmic audio programming language, and I’ve been wanting to cover Fire-Mare that way since I first heard it, but also since the pandemic all I’ve wanted is to play acoustic instruments (which is very inconvenient because I barely play anything without a circuit board in it any more). So I guess this happened instead.

Wow, this is amazing deerful- this song works surprisingly well on ukelele! Definitely does have that vintage Magnetic Fields vibe (which is awesome- one of my favorite bands You're a real one for changing the pronouns again too haha

makewordart.com is a gift to humanity (and also the default reverb plugin in AudioShare, which covers a multitude of sins).

I started doing WordArt album covers when I did a really horrible mashup of Carly Rae Jepsen + John Adams the minimalist composer for some friends as a joke, and now it's become a habit and sometimes I think I should probably stop using it for stuff that's actually nice, but then also no I will never stop.

thank you so much!! i wanted it to get droney at the end there but my mic/amp are terrible and i didn't want to use a guitar with an electric plug-in... settled for the weird setup where i only play into the mic at the very end and it goes into a dungeon reverb. i'm so glad you enjoyed it
