Sondre just sounds pretty. I thought he transferred the momentum of the tune pretty well.

I've learned Lewis Takes Action. But I'd most like to cover the Ballad of No-Face.

It's a really great example of how much more pop-oriented Heartland is.

Hi! I just wanted to add my cover of "The Butcher" to the thread. It's kind of a simplified version, but I had a lot of fun using my own loop pedal a la Owen Pallett. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VevproeSrdI

^^This is great I wish I had a loop pedal and a sense of rythm haha. I can't sing to save my life (and I don't like my voice either) so I usually just play the vocals on the violin. It would be more interesting if I could record the instrumental bits.

Hey! I thought I'd add my covers to the thread as I just uploaded them to Youtube. keep in mind that I'm only 12 years old, so they're pretty amateur. But they were fun to make. hope you like Cliquot: www.youtube.com/watch?v=p997Bi0uq20 Your Light Is Spent: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkHk0j3GLOA(EDIT: I had the wrong link for Cliquot before, but I fixed it.)

The Chronicles of Sarnia by Leon Taheny (with a little help from Tamara Lindeman) www.southernsouls.ca/btfiresongs.htmlTHIS IS SO GOOD!!!!!! You should also check out some of the other videos, and then listen to Bruce Peninsula, but I imagine you'll want to hear the Final Fantasy cover first.

Mighty Leon! Wind the tape! This cover is really good! Why does such talent hide behind the "Engineer" title?!
