yeah, pretty sure, it was released by finalfantasyeternal whos profile has only released the butcher prior to this. They have also put the iceland video as a "favorites" (like the website said)

Hmmm... well, umm.. hmmm.
I kept thinking I saw walruses in the jaggedy spikes of light but that was probably unintentional. Which kinda begs the question: just what was the intention of this video? Yes. Right. Well. The last shot was very nice, very nice indeed!

And the comet breaking up (is that what it is?) at 1.28 is really really beautiful.

Doesn't it seem kind of badly put-together by anyone? I liked the elements of the comet thing and the girl, they felt right, but... all that quick and seemingly aimless cutting didn't match the flow of the song at all. Meh. The Butcher was a little better, but again... it wasn't that marriage of sound and image that I definitely got from the He Poos Clouds video, and Steph's projections.
They weren't bad. I guess I just loved the EP so much that I wanted the videos to be perfect. Greedy, greedy gutsèd fangirl.

It's still is a little bit satanic for my personal taste. ; ) seeing as how owen is in every video (except the ones by steph comilag), it just doesn't add up to me; it seems more like its trying to be one of his videos than actually being one. those, coupled with my previous notes, and the abnormally small time frame between the release of this and the video for The Butcher just make me doubtful |
