I may be a bit late in the game here, but I read that Owen lost his OHIP card due to a ornery government worker and a technicality. Did he ever get it back in the end?

He would have taken the appropriate steps whilst avoiding any media attention so maybe its best we just leave as was and assume it all worked out in the end.

Oh! Well, yes I heard that everything was eventually properly resolved but still, the fact that it was due to a very VERY stupid little rule is just asinine. Apparently if a musician/artist is out of country for more than 6 months of the year their health care coverage ends up being revoked. Most artists/musicians that I know are on the un-wealthy&decadent side and this really just struck me as the Canadian gov't kicking someone while they're down. Which is an extraordinarily common occurence for them. Anyways, even though everything was finally worked out for Owen, I still think it's just completely ridiculous that it could have happened in the first place! I believe this subject has been done to death somewhere other than this forum, but since you asked, I just thought you should know!
