Holy Poop!! Please, Mr. Pallett drift up towards Brisbane!
We need more news.
Edited to say: Perhaps you can edit the post to put "Australia" in the title? Because I wasn't actually going to click on this thread, but I did by chance anyway - we wouldn't want any other Aussies to miss this news.

I cry a thousand tears in the knowledge that when Final Fantasy comes to Australia for the first time, my friends and I will be in New York!!
We joked about all the summer concerts we might miss before booking tickets - Owen's name being brought up frequently in such a light hearted manner. Oh, the bitter irony!!
Fingers crossed that one of the shows takes place in early December. If we have to ride in the pouches of our pet kangaroos we will find a way to get to one such show. December 2, for instance, would be ideal, if anyone's taking notes...
please?

What we really want to know is whether Owen will go for 'The Gift'

I probably haven't had this much stereotypical teen angst since...I don't think I've ever been this depressed, actually. The one time someone actually to PERTH, it is coincidentally my favourite musician, and I have a slight issue with the number of years I have so far lived. I don't like being 16. I have as much distaste for the integer as humanly possible. I am seriously considering either: a) fake id, b) spy-like tactics to get into the venue, c) loitering in front of the venue for as long as possible, and/or d) pulling a Plath (tad extreme) Does anyone else have another suggested raft, or shall I just collect the wood, tie it with knotted leaves and quickly discover that it is, in fact, despairingly impossible to float all the way to Owen Pallett? Edit: Anyone ever heard 'Two More Years' by Bloc Party?

Maybe I should just buy a ticket now. And then if I can't get to melbourne, I would very sadly sell it off... do you think it will sell out?
Ahhhhh.
Madeline, I know your pain, another of my favourite bands came to Brisbane twice when I couldn't go - once when I was sixteen, the other when i was like 17.9 years old. And then like 5 days after, Beirut came and I still wasn't old enough to see them either. It sucked.
