tooth and nail since a lot of you guys live in bc and are somewhat close to seattle you probably were into this type of scene ie: mxpx, slick shoes, five iron frenzy, craig's brother, ghoti hook, watashi wa, ace troubleshooter, off the record, noggin toboggan, valu pac, supertones, dogwood, juliana theory, undecided, hangnail, squad five-o etc i still listen to craig's brother and dogwood sometimes. watashi wa's first album was pretty cool too

I used to like Supertones when I was younger. I slowly stopped liking them though...the began to seem increasingly mediocre.

at one point i owned almost every one of the first 100 tooth and nail releases and many of the ones up to about 170 on some format.
i got a ton of the cassettes for free at a sale at the tooth and nail store.
so you know, if there's anything you want from the tooth and nail catalog... just ask me!

oh yeah, hollis... since you named some bettie rocket bands you might appreciate this: i was the tour drummer for the temper tantrums one summer when i was 16. how about that? hahahaha that is hilarious! i worked at a xian bookstore for 3 years and just quit last june, i remember getting the temper tantrums cd in and it looked like they took the picture for the cover art with a kodak disposable camera. man they were awfulll TODAY, i had nothing to for a few hours and neil's listing of all his t+n albums inspired me to list and colour code every piece of recorded music in my collection this can be viewed at hollis-brown.blogspot.comi have probably 1/3 of that list in cds gone MIA

I've got a whole crapload of T+N/Solid State stuff, right from Ocean's Pet the Fish on down the line.......and thank God for Brandon if it wasn't for T+N I would have been listening to horrible horrible music while I grew up as my parents wouldn't let me listen to secular stuff.
I've had the good fortune to have seen live:
Starflyer 59 right before Fashion Focus came out in Kelowna at a coffee shop called The Gathering Place which had a large back room where bands played, I missed Pep Squad and Slick Shoes though as I didn't know they were playing a show about a week before Starflyer had come through.
Pedro the Lion - At the starfishroom probably about 5-6 years ago
Favorite Groups or albums from the roster in no particular order:
Pedro the Lion Damien Jurado Project 86 - Drawing Black Lines (by far the best rapcore album of all time probably because project has a weird ability to not sound rapcore) Starflyer 59 Stavesacre Driver 8 Bon Voyage Roadside Monument Joe Christmas Frodus Blindside - A Thought Crushed My Mind (still one of my top 5 albums) Zao Royal - My Dear (I love this album) Mike Knott Puller Plankeye - Commonwealth Selfmindead Luxury Pep Squad Morella's Forest (the first album) Velour 100 Sal Paradise Havalina Rail Co. - The Diamond in the Fish
Current roster:
Underoath Norma Jean Demon Hunter
Other non T+N artists of the era that rule:
Dear Ephesus (true EMO nobody will top them, ever) Rose Blossom Punch The Prayer Chain - Antarctica (not the live tracks) The Lassie Foundation Hoi Polloi (the first "alternative" album I ever owned before that if it wasn't rap I didn't listen to it) Poor Old Lu

christ-core motherfuckers, they don't know shit....
but seriously, i had no idea that a lot of those bands were "christian punk" i had no idea there was such a huge christian punk scene, from the looks of it.
