Agreed.
But it's good that you at least understand Pat, and aren't just being frusturated with a "STOP USING BIG WORDS ALREADY YOU GUYS, IT'S DUMB" attitude.
Personally, I'm more comfortable using that kind of language. It comes naturally to me, and I use a varied vocabulary to express myself. Sounds pretentious and cheesy, but ignoring the conventions of language is arrogant in itself.
