I'm not even sure how many people on this message board are old enought to vote. But if you are, it is very, very important that you do. I'm sure (or hope) that most of us aren't interested in voting Liberal, NDP or Conservative...and that's good, because they are definetly NOT the only or viable options. If you feel that your vote won't make a difference, you are WRONG. Even if we all voted for the Green party and they end up getting a few seats in the house of commons then atleast there will be another option/voice etc. in the Canadian federal government. We need to be heard (especially in the west) and those in power need to be told what we think.
If you haven't registered to vote in the federal election on JUNE.28th..... there is a show at the brickyard (the.wpp & lachance) on JUNE 24th, where we will have voters registration cards available. You should also be able to register on voting day.
anyone interested?

i think it's up to you to educate yourself. what things are important to you? there's no way i can tell you what's important to you.
getting registered means nothing without actually casting your vote.

About a week ago i didn't really know jack shit about what any of the parties are all about.. so i decided to check it out.. Step One: Go here and see the overview of all of the registered political parties.. Step Two: Go to each of their websites and browse their main points and campaign issues... Step Three: Decide for yourself what makes sense.. preferably to everyone and not just for your own benefit. Step Four: Try to watch the news or hear what people are saying about the different parties and their opinions. Finally.. go with your own instinct, and not just what all your friends are telling you to do.. I'm favouring the Green Party because like Ryan said, it's good to have more options and more diversity in the system when there's such shitty parties in the majority.. And their website isn't full of empty slogans and cheap talk..

because, you know i voted in the last provincial election. i will never vote for the green party. ill vote NDP until im dead or i begin to hate them too. vote away stu, but you might aswell vote for the marijuana party, the end is the same. neither will ever garner enough to actually make a difference, they'll just put minority governments in power.
