They're not playing, we play too many shows together. I guess that's because we're the only two metal bands in Abbotsford. But whatever

Well, whatever. I don't even know how to classify it myself, so I just say metal, cause that's where most of our influence is from. Maybe you just haven't heard most of our songs

Hey all.... Just got this email, not sure if they can be added to this bill or not, thought I'd pass it on and score some karma points..... Subject: URGENT: vancouver show From: "Voltage Heroes" <voltageheroes@hotmail.com> Date: Sun, December 28, 2003 1:35 am To: brian@resist.ca i'm kevin, from an edmonton group called the "all purpose voltage heroes". back at the start of november, we were dealing with ent ausserung booking for pat's pub for jan 10. i was told the booking was all set, and it wouldn't be a problem. i recently asked for some confirmation on this, and my e-mails have gone unanswered. with all our travel arrangements set, and no show, we're in a bit of trouble. we're basically just looking to hop onto any bill on jan 10, anywhere, for anything. food, money, whatever can be spared. we're trying to make this trip not a total waste of time and money,so any show we could get would be incredibly helpful. we're a four piece casio-rock / synth-pop outfit, with a drummer, two keyboardists, and a vocalist/sampler. our music is very eclectic. imagine buck 65 singing with a less playful unicorns and you have a slight idea of our sound. you can hear some tracks from our self-recorded, self-released debut album here: www.sldf.org/twilight.mp3www.sldf.org/alue.mp3www.sldf.org/bottles.mp3www.sldf.org/anna.mp3our live shows are fun and wild and entertaining. any bill we could get tacked onto for jan 10 in the vancouver area would be amazingly appreciated. thanks very much. kevin cherney
