Sadly I am, however I ask that you don't be jealous, I plan to live in Canada right after uni, the UK is an unhappy place. If you want I'll gladly switch places with you.
It's quite funny, my friend Andrew is over in Hong Kong just now teaching kids and stuff and I think he's seriously refusing to come back to the UK because he, like so many others here loathe it.

"Canada" is quite a broad term London is one of the only places I've visited that I can seriously picture myself living. My next trip to the UK will include the rest of England and Scotland, though, so maybe I'll like somewhere else better. Although city life does have its benefits, London is bloody expensive. edit: and oh, don't get me wrong, I love Canada. It's great.

(Although if Owen reads this - please come to Australia it's great!!) I wish i was in Europe somewhere.

Hey Happy Birthday! I'm late sorry... I missed something, what's the link with Yann Tiersen? I'm a HUGE fan of Yann Tiersen... in fact it's him who made me know about Owen Pallett... because in an interview the guy was asking what music he would like to broadcast and he answered Final Fantasy Please Please Please... and the guy was just "never heard about that" "it's the guy who made the strings arrangements for Arcade Fire" "ooooooooooooooooh" (well I said nothing, and i still don't really have listen to any Arcade Fire)... anyway funny coincidence... and behind Owen Pallett cooking risotto there was music of the Amélie's soundtrack... funny... By the way, he is working on his next album and his next soundtrack and posted some demos on his myspace here: www.myspace.com/yanntierseninprogress

Oh yay, i thought there might be someone here who'd heard of him A friend introduced me to his music about a month ago. The youtube link is to a really nice performance of the violin part from Sur le fil, which is my favourite song of his (of what i've heard so far anyway, which is just Le Phare and C'etait Ici). The violin is amazing!! I'm learning the piano bit at the moment, hopefully one day my friend will be able to do the violin part so we can play it together. So..yann tiersen listens to Final Fantasy?

Yep... found the old broadcast huhu... it was the 19 october 2005, a few days after Owen's concert at La Boule Noire in Paris... he was already found of Arcade Fire. so he jump on the occasion when he heard about has a good home. so yes he listens to Final Fantasy . I wonder if owen listens to yann tiersen... and of course silly presenter saying "sounds similar blabla" although there is nothing in common except they both play violin hu... and then yeah a guy who paraticipated in Arcade Fire ablum blabla but wasn't at the Black session blabla... and months later "new final fantasy album he poos clouds really good, new talent blabla"... the funny thing is that they played in some festivals in common, just one after the other or with one group between... really funny. and of course each time it wasn't in france or it was when I wasn't in france... sad for me, Yann Tiersen and Owen Pallett are my two favorite male musicians...

(Although if Owen reads this - please come to Australia it's great!!) I wish i was in Europe somewhere. Oh my, I rather like this, I think you're one of the first two to give ME a video... YAAAAAYYY ^_^ this beats what I was listening to before: Gwen Stefani's "cool". I've really just been at oogling at the cutie gwen is with in the video and trying to alter my appearance to match him, I'm a master of disguise did you know? Here is a dose of some music video-age that you might like www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1Cy78pCn9YThe woman's voice brings me much happiness, I hope you enjoy it. So tell us what you got up to for your birthday? I really want to go to Australia, I'm not very sure what part though but I'd probably be dragged to melbourne for the sole fact that I have relatives...that I never...talk...to...there... ... That doesn't make much sense but probably a "subconscious" thought of mine is "cheap accommodation you fool...take it...TAKE IT!!" If you're heading to Europe I can only suggest Paris, it's amazingly good but take my advice, bring as many people as you can because I remember very nearly being dragged down an alley by some very strange girl...I didn't like it at all. myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=3298990 here for anyone who likes funny science fiction

Is it wrong I'm listening to crazy people's music? It just hit me that I've had Je ne regrette rien by Edith Pliaf on repeat...
All I need now is to sit in a dark room and switch the lights on and off repeatedly while playing with a dog collar I'm wearing as a necklace.
Hey! I can do that...

Every person I've ever become friends with has worn a dog collar at some point in their life. It is a surprising majority of people I know....

I am... ok. I had to build this website for a class, and it's due tomorrow. Unfortunately, I'm having much technical trouble, and it won't be done for tomorrow. I'm supposed to present it. *sigh*
