nope, definitely not that.
It's very nice though; is it recent? Sounds very HAGH-ish to me

it's something he did for a commercial (i'm just guessing)
however, it IS an original, and i'm dangerously close to buying it.

The song sounds familar, but then I can't actually place it properly. I need to brood a while longer. Nice track and in feel it reminds me a bit of orange

Okay so the deal is that the start of the song is used in 2 new Flora Becel Pro-activ advert. You can preview then both by going to www.th1ng.com/th1ng.html and then Click on Styles (bottom right) Click on --------------> Click on either of these to see a version of the advert -------------->

Jules
Your constantly changing avatar is the best thing
Becel asked me if I wanted to write a song for their commercial, so I said yes I would, and I did. The guy who directed the original commercial is a man from Toronto named Yael Staav, who's name I was always mystified by when I was 15 and listening to Hayden records.
The song was recorded on a Loopstation and bounced to an AIFF file using the internal microphone on my Mac. I tried doing it properly but they preferred the sound of my tiny 1x10 Peavey practice amp and the Mac cooling fan.
There are about 20 different versions of the song, including one that was recorded properly at home with vocals and lyrics and the whole bit. It was the first song I've ever done that was reverse-engineered. I took the ditty from the commercial and extended it into a proper song. It was tricky!
Anyway, it's not a Final Fantasy song. It's a gig. Hope you like it, though.

Jules Your constantly changing avatar is the best thing. Ha ha... There are about 20 different versions of the avatar, including one that will be recorded properly at home with clean edges and joy and the whole bit. ..oh it changed again Anyway, it's not a Final Fantasy song. It's a gig. Hope you like it, though I've had the song on rotation all morning (it's the one before Hey Dad on my magic box of music) and it sounds swell. It would be nice if a non digital version was available as I always feel that songs should have space to breath rather than being crammed up inside a digital compression.

I'm having my usual trouble of catching all the lyrics which means I'm probably missing some of the storyline again.
Owen?

Is it possible to buy it without passing by itunes? I bought Lewis Dream at emusic - but I'm not sure whether you can buy just one single track there. (I pay a certain amount of money monthly there and may download 30 tracks in exchange)
