A few friends of mine went, said Owen played The Power of Love and that it was packedpackedpacked in the venue. Not sure if that's the only song he played, though.

I (one of Victoria's friends) was there and I did get his performance and talking on video. At the moment the video of the performance alone is 500mb so I'm going to have to try to trim it somehow before uploading it to youtube. He did just perform the one song unfortunately, but it was quite good. The venue was ridiculously packed, and very hot because of all of the bodies and breathing. Ed Droste and a couple of the other guys from Grizzly Bear were there as well. Edit: Sendspace link to the mp3 converted from the video - www.sendspace.com/file/7xeupu

I guess I must just like his vocal style and the sound of that violin and it really doesn't matter what he plays, although I'd probably have to draw the line at the Birdie Song Thank for posting that

ahahahaha!!!! oh my. thanks pantomime! great recording & god, owen certainly has the most beautiful voice. for years i've felt that song was specifically designed just to torture me but now i'll be able to listen to it and actually smile. truly, 'the power of love'. (yah i know, i know, but dear god! if cheese isn't appropriate in THIS thread then, well... whatever.)

Video on Youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5tXB-JaTuoIt's been reduced to a crappier quality - sorry for all the shaking, it was very hot and crowded and I had not eaten yet. Also I was trying to rest my elbow on a friend who kept moving.

A highly entertaining night - I especially enjoyed Laura Landauer (www.gypsymiller.com)'s incredibly impressive Celine Dion impersonation.
Laura Barrett and Owen were wonderful, Steve Kado was obnoxious as hell (for a change).
