I can't believe it is already sold out on tomlab (well..I can believe it I just can't believe i missed it). Thanks for these links, Jules. I've ordered via Secretly Canadian who don't say it is sold out. So we'll see if they have any in stock. Fingers crossed |

Yeah, many thanks Jules. My order was shipped saturday I think, so I guess they weren't sold out wherever I might have ordered them. Now I'll just have to wait... patience...

secretly canadian just told me they have none left, and will be refunding my money. i am kinda depressed now. Same here. I am pissed I am. I added other CDs to that order just because I was ordering from them anyway, so I guess I have that to look forward to, but pissed I am nonetheless. I'm pretty positive that somebody will put up a copy or two on eBay. I'm going to unload a gripe here now, not directed at anyone particular: If I were a musician and were to attain any level of popularity you can imagine, I would not release hard copies of any sort of recording in limited quantities. I know there are others, like myself, who are not 100% down with the whole digital thing and like a nice CD or record on their shelf of every song or b-side ever composed. So whether or not I have the mp3, I'm still going to have to go and find some way to get a hard copy. Since there are thousands of fans and only 500 copies of something is this case, it just makes it nigh impossible. Gripe concluded. Not aimed at anyone in particular, so don't hurt me. |

Although this is kind of a special case as i think all of the Alphabet series are limited. Pretty sure the 'Many Lives' 7" is still available though and 'Young Cdn Mothers' was put out by an independent record company so it kinda had to be a limited & one-time pressing. (Yay! Thank you EGR!!) If anyone has any links for that to download though I would be soooo grateful!!! I'm a bit obsessive about vinyl and don't want to wear it out and I really need it on my computer! Part of me secretly likes owning a limited edition record but that fights with the other part of me that just wants everyone to share in the good music. ah well... ...but YES, I certainly agree!!! |
