yes yes the pressing was 500 - I'm wondering how many were allocated to tomlab.de's web sales such that they would sell out in two days.

Not sure if any of the other alphabets sold out so quick before and there should still be some out there to get, but I still went...phew that I'd ordered (and now received) my copy. I need to wait until Tuesady to make a digital copy as all the equipment need to be set up. Until then I'm going to imagineer how good it sounds.

Yikes! I'm sure glad I didn't listen to my common sense & wait until I got paid to order it.
*grrrarwwwll* Shut up, stomach! 'Music is the food of the soul' right? Yah, that's right, now "fill my stomach with your singing!!"

Oohhhh Arhhhh....What do You think is very different (in the good sense of the word) to how I'd imagineered it for the last few days (Yes finally got the old turntable out and spun it up to digital).
That horn, the nick knackerty of the drums and is that a hint of guitar in there as well. Not much more to say except for.....nice
Glad the ending is actually part of the song and not just a live improvisation, although having spent the last few month listening to the version with Cadence Weapon I keep expecting that little afterthought of sonic sound to be there

I know! Having those almost-studio-quality recordings of Paris 1919 and What Do You Think has made me subconsciously think of them as the 'real' versions, even if Paris 1919 is a cover. However! I got my copy yesterday, and managed to kick my roommates out of the living room so I could listen to it. It sounds great.
