I took a few pictures as well. I didn't use flash, but some of them actually turned out pretty cool:





The whole show was incredible. I had never seen/heard Obijou before, minus one song that a friend made me listen to. Their set was fantastic - I'll definitely make a note to check them out again. Great Lake Swimmers were nice to see as well. Final Fantasy was a great end to the evening - definitely had everyone's undivided attention, plus it was nice to hear new/rarely heard songs.

To top it all off, I took Happy Cab #15 home, complete with music and a disco ball.

These are fantastic! Thank you for allowing me to experience vicariously another live show (because, at this rate, that will be the only kind of experience I'll be having). When I have time (probably later today or tomorrow), I'll definitely work on extracting the audio from the Youtube videos. If you want to try it yourself, however, with the original videos, you can use the program here:

Those are the most poorly filmed pieces of shit I've ever seen. Someone should smash all the bones in your hands and fingers. And hey, maybe if you had casts, you'd be able to hold your hands still.

Seriously, I have never been so simultaneously disgusted and sympathetic. It's like when a retarded old dog collapses on the floor in a puddle of its own vomit and diarrhea, barking as if to call everyone over to look. You almost want to help it, but you want to put it permanently out of its misery first. I don't know whether to grab a mop or a rifle.

I was so happy 'He Poos Clouds' and 'Interview' were played. 'Horsetail Feathers' is now a new favourite. He seemed really energetic and the crowd was great, tottaly worth the bus ride and such to Guelph.

Your absolutely right, the quality of the videos is not what we would ideally like. How could we have not see that from the start? You'd think we would know better and arrange for a whole plethora of cinematic capture devices to be on hand to capture the true essence of a performance. Alas none were available at the price we could afford so we had to make do with our own efforts.

Oh and the UKK Forum send their love and kisses too (well at least that's what they said to say next time you popped by to pass on some of your worldly wisdom to us bogans).
