Sorry - cutting in to back on topic(ish) - Owen! You got your own comic! errr....backward compliment of sorts? It's true I suppose. Oh, and it's referring to how the RRC has never hosted a show like this...indie, young crowd, etc.. p.s. Sorry, my scanner isn't working properly for some reason so this is the only way I could upload it. Not being familar with gaming slang I had to look up the meaning of spoony bard in my urban dictionary.....and then ... and then I read the full thing and know I'm all Is this normal?

Not being familiar with the English language in general (well, not knowing big words anyway), I looked up both words separately. 'Silly poet/minstrel' is what I came up with. Maybe?

Boy, that takes some insider geek-knowledge to be understandable. Yay, though.

For those who are still going WTF?:
"Spoony bard" is a reference to a line from Final Fantasy IV, namely from the Ted Woolsey translation. Woolsey is best known for his [ahem] creative ways of censoring offensive lines from the Japanese scripts of Final Fantasy IV and VI, "spoony bard" being a particularly hilarious example of such.
And yes, I am cool enough to have been quite well-acquainted with one Final Fantasy before the other.

I'm only familiar with the line because this man I used to work with wrote notes for the next shift and they'd almost always be Final Fantasy references.
