Without Canada, we would have no Owen. Therefore Canada is my best friend.

Also, all that stuff with the violin viking riding around in the flying canoe at the winter Olympics opening show. Whatever in the hell that was, I enjoyed it.
Go Canada.

I would pay almost any bribe to hear a cover of this in portland. But that's never going to happen. as for more reasonable requests: I would love to hear none of you will ever see a penny and/or nun or a bawd.

it came up on shuffle recently right after I had finished listening to heartland, and all I could think of was how awesome it would be if owen and thomas covered it.

I don't know if Owen is a Talking Heads fan, but I think he could produce a wonderful cover of "this must be the place"

It was the b-side to Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) and was a live version recorded on 2nd Feb 2005 at Irving Plaza in New York City, with David Byrne on guest vocals. here's a picture from the show, proving that Owen helped out with the recording (although as you can't actual see the face, you'll have to judge from the hair, ear and bowing arm) There should be you tube clips of audience recordings as well David Bowie only watched so his only contribution would be applause.

Didn't he (attempt to) play it at Regina Folk Fest? I remember him dropping out at the start of the chorus... hmmm.....
