My Heartland LP arrived today. Have just listened through from start to finish it's such a beautiful album. Annoyingly my Domino download isn't working, anyone else have this problem?

Royal mail and french post office were pretty efficient this time, I've just got my copy. I'm finally glad I ordered it from Domino, it has saved more than a week (it's announced for the 25th of Juanary in France). Since its a CD no trouble to encode it, I just had to change the artist name. Although the CD packaging says Owen Pallett, it's tagged Final Fantasy. An awfully busy week to come (lot of work + house moving) but at the end Owen's show in Paris!!

Heartland has taken over the household here. I had a moment earlier when I went into each kids bedroom to find that they were playing the album to themselves. I've even put the cd on the house player that is left on loop upstair for the kids to listen to whilst they go to sleep. I don't ram my tastes down my kids ears, but it has been on in the car and they have all taken to it. Life can be wonderful some days

Heartland may have taken over my ears but the same can't be said of my parents.

My parents are also getting a bit "overwhelmed", shall we say. Considering Owen is all I listen to any more, my parents are getting to learn the songs just as well as I do. I feel bad for my roommate when I go back to school!

My mum loves Heartland (and has just got a last.fm account !), but I don't really know about my dad. My dad said Owen was awesome live but I don't know if he really likes his music on record.

Listening to Heartland this much has given me a real craving to play Zelda, probably because I imagine Lewis to look quite like grown up Link. It's really annoying me though because I don't really have the time at the moment to play it.

I'm interested to see how a Heartland music video will look.

I'm interested to see how a Heartland music video will look. Oh wow, same! My Heartland CD and LTA 7" arrived today But the single is 'Final Fantasy' and the album is 'Owen Pallett', which has made the descision of how to label his works on iTunes a little more of a struggle.

I spent this morning finishing up a paper while listening to Heartland... walked over to my friend's room, who was also listening to Owen... downstairs, I'll bet my friend who I took to the show on Friday probably still has it on loop... I was streaming it on Lala this morning. I'll see if I can pick it up on Friday... no point buying the MP3s, I definitely want a tangible copy.

Loving the Max Tundra remix of Midnight Directives. It's slowed down but with a thumping backbeat and much more emphasis on the syths and dial tones and ringtones.
It wouldn't work on the album, but it a nice aside

Oh my god. Can someone post those remixes? Or show me a link in the U.S / Canadian iTunes store? AHHHHHH.
I can just imagine Simon Bookish singing "My body is a cage" a whole octave lower.
mmmm.
