Was anyone here at the concert in Gent last night? Owen, you wrote me the “C’est Quebecois” note, and I forgot to say how wonderful the new ‘Queen Victoria’ song was (Still didn’t quite figure out ‘Quebecois’ though) The concert itself was wonderful again…I think I actually prefer when there are no drums, and the use of piano/keyboard was a welcome change. It’ll be great to see you take that aspect even further… I'll try to make a descent mp3 of the new song out of the 2 seperate videos...it's gonna be terrible quality though... Even after 5 times, it all doesn’t lose one bit of its magic, so ‘bien merci’ to you too, Owen

Thanks for that.
I'm really looking forward to next week. I looking forward to the keyboards, but it will be strange without Phillipe on the sticks.

Could someone host the 'Queen Victoria' song ? If you can, mail me or add me on pieter_dirkx@hotmail.com Like I said, the quality's awful, but it gives a good enough idea... It's not that strange without the drums, just a bit less overwhelming for the eardrums

I just made a yousendit account, but you can't really upload anything on the site...you have to send it to someone else, don't you?

You can put in your own email address, or even just make one up. Once it's uploaded the link will appear on the screen as well as being emailed to the address you enter.

for yousendit, you don't even need an account. just email it to yourself, and then it will give you a link to go back to the site to download it. then you can post the link url here and it will stay active for 7 days (or a certain number of downloads, i think) so people on here can get it.

ok, hope this works... really, don't expect anything, cause it sounds like shit... it only gives a vague idea of the song www.yousendit.com/download/ebVBwHNakY8%3D the only things you might understand are "which british prime minister do you most admire and why? -Queen Victoria" and the ending "the .... gets up and leaves the room. She's obviously very upset by my attempted insults"

okay, i say this before listening, but isn't that a Simon Bookish cover? i do remember Leo Chadburn hollering those words back at the Luminaire gig. he's a wonderful man, himself.
EDIT: on review, this must've been a bitch to arrange for violin.

EDIT: on review, this must've been a bitch to arrange for violin. I haven't had a chance to listen, but the lyrics sound like "Interview" from Trainwreck / Raincheck which is due out once the printers have got they act sorted out. Owen had a pre-mastered copy of the album ages ago and was raving about it even before the Luminaire gig last May. Leo should be a star and from the few tracks I have it's a must have album. I'm sure all will become apparent soon ....ish
