Hey members!
get your creative juices flowing and give me your final fantasy song and title interpretations! I'm sure everyone of you has some ideas for several lyrics. I'm very curious!
kind regards,
Miss Finnigan x

I spent so long writing an unamusing account of how each song was a corporate product placement that I timed out my log in so I lost it. Probably for the best I can remember the brands (Andrex, Findus, JAL, More Th>n, Pure and Simple to name a few), but anyway rather that start again.... claps.blogspot.com/2006/05/lapsed-nerds-guide-to-final-fantasys.html....actually I like the interpretation of Lamb sells Condos as a subliminal message to sell time share apartments in Portugal.

thats tragic when logins time out. i once had to say goodbye to what was equal to a ten page short story because of that.
he poos clouds: like owen mentioned about the girl with big hair talking about her great boyfriend; someone so dreamy, they poo clouds. OR my other interpretation is that gentleman reg poos clouds because his hair looks cloudy to me. even though reg and owen havent been together for a while now.
although each song was obviously written for the three reasons mentioned by someoneelse,
and i truly believe "I'm Afraid of Japan" is a sort of recreation (or holds inspiration) of Yukio Mishima or the story "Patriotism," because seppuku is mentioned and all. I listened to the song at points in the story, and it was as if the song had been created only for the story.
"Do You Love?" is a song about either Owen or Patrick I guess? It seemsto be about self-perfection.
Oh and lastly, i'm fairly certain "fill my stomach with your singing" is an innuendo. anyone?

The only one I've figured out so far is that 'He Poos Clouds' is about Zelda... 'Do You Love?' always reminds me of Alice in Wonderland for no logical reason whatsoever My brother thinks '>--->' is about Jenna Zan Arbor from Star Wars
(I just became a pretty girl, not a moment too soon!)

Um, I'm gonna need some conventions here. Or some verbs.
You know, to understand the questions.

anyone who hasn't already, do seek out the Torture Garden's interview for slightly esoteric summaries of the meanings behind HPC. (Jenna is Jenna Bush, i seem to remember.)
