I am currently taking up the violin because i want to learn some of your songs, and for starters could you please post the chords or something for This Is The Dream Of Win And Regine, and my second question is could you please play Windsor ON? I'd be oh so happy if you could.
Thanks Owen. HUGE FF fan, Marc.

I'm not Owen. This isn't 'This is the dream', either, but all I'm saying for a different song is:
G G G G G G A B (All quarters)
and for the most part, it is G-scales EXCEPT The bass line which is an A scale.
It is the easiest song I know most of (of Owen's), and, as a fellow ameteur violinist, it'll give you something to work on until Owen replies.

G G G G G G A B (All quarters) (loop)
MELODY: (with a swing)
A B C , C D E, F# G, A B D(glissando down)
We the Dead, we the dead, find a country road...
Doubles: F# F# F# F# F# F# "higher" -----D---D -D--D---B
C'mon, you should know by now...
(and sorry for the dashes, think of them as spaces 'cause HTML is killing my formatting)

Hmm I wonder what song it could be .... Hey, dad? hahaha kidding, obviously The Cn Tower Belongs To The Dead, and it looks fairly easy.

From what I hear on the perfomance of "Hey Dad", it seems the same theme was used for the "-->" track on He Poos Clouds.
It may just be my mind playing tricks on me.

yeah, it seems "-->" is yet another incarnation of hey dad (compare beheading at the dining room table with shitting out a miracle onto the table). incidentally, this is a song which, i believe, goes back to the les mouches days. the oooooo part was a lot more...dramatic back then. the schlocky hockey lyric is pretty memorable as well.
my favourite part of the live mp3 of this song (final fantasy version) is the guy who says "this is fuckin' garbage" right after owen sings "how is my offspring so pretentious?"

i have the over the top version, quality is decent thanks sarra for the song. but mhmm if you have a better song would yoyu want to YSI or send to me via aim? anything is appreciated. Hahahha I love recordings like that. I have a recording of Tracy + the plastics where someone very audibly says "this is fucking bullshit, can we go?" and then its silent for five or more seconds. i wish i was there so i knew what happened.
