could anyone (perhaps the man himself) help me with tabbing the song "furniture" to guitar? i haven't even been playing for a year now, but transcribing final fantasy songs is one of my favorite, and most effective, things to help me improve. this song is baffling me, though- does anyone even know the chord progression? what key it's in? anything would help. all i have so far is the little intro melody.

I asked the same question to Owen last summer and this is what he sent me (so, yeah, it's from the man himself) ;D G Am C D G Am C D Eb D Bb F/A Fm/Ab Eb D D7 And jeeez do they work. I used them to record a cover played on baritone ukulele

thanks much, Anne! funny you should say that about the ukulele, because i'm learning the soprano uke myself, doing mostly magnetic fields and belle&sebastian songs. if your cover is online anywhere, i'd love to hear it!

Better chords for the chorus part are G C Am C. Sorry Anne, I only realized this later.

ha! it's ok Owen! Not sure all that much how I played it in the end. I adapted the chords I'd found out myself with those I was sent so I would be able to play it on my bari uke And for those who'd like to hear my cover: sorry, it's not online anywhere and only three pairs of ears got to hear it (including mine) and I must say that, in fact, I don't quite feel all that comfortable with that "thing" I recorded I think it was more about having the pleasure to play it for myself than to record it and have other people listening to it.

For Better Than Worse I (roughly) have G Bm Am| Am Bm G| G Bm Em| Em G
