there's a few notes there that don't sound quite right. here's what i tabbed a while ago and i think it's closer to the album version (are you tuned down half a step?)
Adventure.exe
e|-------------------------------- B|-----------3---------------3---- G|-2-2-2-2-2---2-2-2-2-2-2-0---0-0 D|3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3- A|-------------------------------- E|--------------------------------
e|-------------------------------- B|-------------------------------- G|-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2---------------- D|3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3--3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3 A|----------------5-5-4-4-3-3-3-3- E|--------------------------------
e|-------------------------------- B|-------------------------------- G|-------------------------------- D|-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3 A|5-5-4-4-3-3-3-3-1-1-0-0--------- E|------------------------3-3-3-3-
e|-------------------------------- B|-------------------------------- G|-------------------------------- D|-3-3--------------3-3-3--(-2)--- A|-----0--0-0-0-0-0--------------- E|3-3-3-33-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-
yeah, the last note is a whole step lower than you can go with standard tuning, but it's just one
note so i forget about it.

if you tune a whole step down, you can put the capo on the second fret, covering all but the low e string.

haha yeah i tried that, but MAN it plays sloppy when i do. strings are all loose and whatnot.

well, my guitar is always tuned down a whole step, and i use medium strings so it still sounds/plays good. in fact, the strings feel really tight when i tune to standard e.

This is my first post. I have no idea what SHZine is. Prolly a magazine, considering the "Zine" in the name...
Anyhow...I think I figured it out. I came up with it after getting some hints from this thread.
of course, the normal intro:
e| b|------------------3---------------------3 g|----2----2------------2---2--------0---------0----0 d|3----3----3(...)----3---3---3(..)3----3----3----3 a| D|
e| b| g|----2----2----2----2----2----2----2----0 d|3----3----3----3----3----3----3----3--------3----3----3----3----3----3----3----3 a|------------------------------------------5----5----4----4----3----3----3----3 D|
and then, of course, repeat that last part, and then:
e| b| g| d|----3----3----3----3----3----3----3----3----3----3 a|1----1----0----0------------------------------------------ D|---------------------5----5----5----5----5----5----5h7----5----7----3(...)
e| b| g|---------2 d|------------ a|------------ D|0----3
and then repeat from that second set of tabs all the way back here, and then
THE INTERLUDE:
e| b|---------4-------------------4 g|----2---------2----2----2--------2----2 d|3----3----3----3----3----3----3---3 a| D| That fingering pattern, then applied to these cord:
e| b|3------2------1 g|3------3------2 d|3------3------3 a| D|
then
e|-------------------1 b|---------4-------------------4 g|----2---------2---------2--------2----2 d|3----3----3----3----3----3----3---3 a| D|
and use the same chords as above, just with that high f in there.
And, play the next verse the same as the last verses, and it's done.
===============================================
Try it out, and tell me what you think.
Improvements are welcome, as this is my favorite Final Fantasy song, and I want to know how to play it right.
