Hello, Please advise me.
I'm looking for a total overhaul, new country, new job etc.
And If this is a futile reason for picking a country, well, what can I say.... I'm really enjoying all the music coming from Canada at the moment and want to move to an English speaking country.
Which city would you recommend please?
I'm a woven textile designer so would need to look at somewhere that has a fashion/interior industry.
Anyway these are the first tentative steps and any ideas would be gratefully received.
Thanks Julene x

southern ontario is probably the best place to be in the world right now.

toronto or montreal are your best bet, just don't move to a small town. try this board: stillepost.ca, you may find it more resourceful

Can I come with you?
I've been wondering whether a little red maple leaf drawn onto my dogeared passport would be quite enough to fool Canadian immigration.

I wanted to move there a few years ago when my aunt and uncle moved to Vancouver (they work for EA) and I fell in love with the city. Then I found out how freaking expensive it is and I totally chickened out. Maybe someday when I'm not so...really, really poor.
