Dude, you can't just post something like this without providing a sample of what it sounds like.
Also, who will be spitting mad dope rhymes over it, yo?

Ack, sorry for taking so long to get back on this. I am not really feeling the beat to be honest. It ties together with the sample very well, but the actual drum hits are kinda... mechanical. Maybe if you sampled a break that was slightly off-kilter and had another counter-rhythm-line to change it up at points it would work better. (Of course, with a compelling verse you don't have to worry so much about getting monotonous, so I'll hold judgement on that.)
Also, that "MP3 down at the end of the hall" filter has GOT TO GO. Swap in a brush or something. And add a few fills somewhere.
Just trying to offer constructive criticism... ("Opinions are like rap careers, everybody's got one.")

what you have said makes a lot of sense to me. i am in a bunch of normal indie rock bands and have done my fair share of home and studio recording so i know what you mean. but in my defense, my roommate and i aren't 100% serious - we make the instrumentals really quickly then at the end of heavy drinking nights we record hillarious verses so i dont know if i'm gonna go back and change anything but i probably should
