Yes. For real! I didn't think it would but it will and it's going to be great.
For those who don't know, Bell Orchestre is Pietro (from Torngat), Richard and Sarah (from Arcade Fire) and a drummer and trumpet player (Stef and Ivan). They are releasing they're new record on Rough Trade (which is a pretty big deal) and it's beautiful and their music is beautiful.
Wooden Stars are the best Canadian band of the 90s. Perhaps "for all time" but that would mean putting them above Deep Dark United, Beau Dommage, Harmonium and Fifth Column, which is a difficult task... so we'll just say "the 90s" because it's true, they are the best. They sound like Scriabin in a rock band, and their vocal harmonies are choice. Their first album is one of only two albums over 75 minutes long that I totally love all the way through. (The other one is TINDERSTICKS which is also perfect.)
So in case you didn't know, Wooden Stars "broke up" after their last release ("The Moon"), but are back together and by all accounts, still moving, shocking and wonderfully fun.
I'm so excited to open for both these bands.

It says here: www.royalcitymusic.ca/index.php?page=4 that the show is on the 4th? Could someone let me know which day it is puhleease? It would be incredibly un-fit if I drove an hour northwest to see a show that is none-existant.

really easy. Get on the subway at union station (TTC) and head north to St. George St.
Then transfer at St. George and go West on the subway line to Spadina Station.
Come up the escalator thing and you'll immediatly see a streetcar stop/waiting area. Just get on that streetcar and get off at college. ( you can always ask the driver to shout out when college is coming up) the elmo is super noticable on spadina, unlikely you'll miss it.
Good luck!!! you going alone?
