Hmm. That wasn't me who wrote that above. This is the real Owen, anyway.
I don't play with The Hidden Cameras anymore. Joel is a genius and geniuses are sometimes difficult to work with.
I did stand side stage and eat my heart out. They have so many songs that are A1. "For Fun" and "Smells Like Happiness" alone are enough to cement them as my favourite pop band.
Geoff Berner was good, Cuff The Duke were good, Stars were good. Stars did this cool thing where they doubled a live violinist with a string sample and it sounded like $1000000. Wow.
None of us in the Arcade Fire tent were happy with the show, but the day was so beautiful and there were so many friends about, it was impossible to be sore about it.
I swam naked in fetid water and Reg and I compared shrinkage. The ice cream was top notch. It was a good time.
Especially compared to Lollapalooza, which was depressing. The highlight of that weekend were The Killers, who I would describe as "not bad". Other than that, I really enjoyed the julienned dried beets on this little salad I ate.

the arcade fire tent shouldnt have been upset with how the show went.
the sound was truly incredible, even with the small technical problems with amps and such.
it was great to see you, pietro and mike on stage as well.
such an entertaining show as well.
thank you!
