The best way to fix CanCon is to bury it.
CanCon creates lousy songs about mining, fisheries, grain silos and horses called "The Canadian". It has a terrible effect on Canadian musicians, who start to feel all pro-Canada.
You will find similar programs killing the radio waves in Texas and other such over-nationalistic areas.
Down with CanCon. Up with DJ accountability.

Yes I totally agree, cancon is ridiculous; but this is an amendment to hopefully change that.
