mainstream success makes musicians depressed. if i sell 100,000 records, i fake my death and start a soup shop in parkdale. as for "why isn't the record in stores yet?" be patient. tomlab = people working hard. carrot top works hard. everybody is doing their part. if it makes you feel any better, i still haven't received my box of vinyl magic. so we're both in the same boat. (i hope it looks good) thanks. oh and just in case, will you need a bus boy at this soup shop?

yesterday i bought the tomlab vynil, it sounds good, but the it's really really really poor...no inside notes, details about players, or lyrics. only the titles of the songs...why?

somewhere between 40,000 and 50,000. i dont have the exact numbers Who keeps pretending they're me? Weird. No way I've sold that many records. That would be a nightmare. Anyway, about the vinyl release, that's VERY STRANGE that you didn't get a lyric book. It's boring, identical in size and format to the CD version, and should be included with every LP. Although I'd have preferred an artsy layout or something, this wasn't the release for it... future releases will be more beautifully packaged.

Also, Owen, is it too late to ask for a lyric book mailing? I got a "first edition" (during the Arcade Fire tour) that had no lyric book. I'd pay for shipping/handling...

I'll send out some lyric books. They'll be the 2nd edition hand made ones, but I'll spray them with Maggi sauce to "liven up food flavours".
Send an e-mail to opallett@yahoo.com. Subject: Send me a lyric book! Body: Your address. Do it before Thursday, because I'm going away and won't have time after Friday to send any, k?
